Formby Ladies
Founded in 1896 and set amongst pine trees and sand dunes, the course presents a challenge to golfers of all standards. It has narrow fairways and small greens which demand accuracy on this challenging links course.
Formby Ladies annually hosts the Leveret Competition, which always attracts a good field of top women golfers. In 1997 Elaine Radcliffe shot a new course record of 64 to win the Leveret Trophy, an excellent score, not matched by many Curtis Cup players before or since.
Men's Dress code:
On the course men should wear tailored trousers and shirts with collars or polo necks. Knee length socks must be worn when wearing tailored knee length shorts and proper golf shoes must be worn at all times.

Women's Dress Code:
No tracksuits, denim jeans, short skirts or suntops are to be worn.

In the Clubhouse smart casual golf attire must be worn.

The use of mobile phones is prohibited. The clubhouse also operates a no smoking policy.

Handicap cards or certificates are required.
