Founded in 1911, this course combines a sporting challenge with a fantastic setting. Its elevated tees offer magnificant views over the Irish Sea and its neighbour Royal Birkdale.
Hillside has staged many great championships and to some players it's the best course never to have staged the Open Championship. Greg Norman wrote to the club describing Hillside's back nine holes as the "best in Britain".
